Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Transcriptr, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
2. What Transcriptr does
Transcriptr helps users extract transcripts from supported video links, review searchable transcript blocks, export transcript text, and, depending on the plan, use AI features such as summaries, key takeaways, rewriting, and chat-based assistance.
Supported platforms, extraction speed, and available transcript quality may vary depending on the video source, captions, audio quality, platform restrictions, and third-party service availability.
3. User responsibilities
You agree to use Transcriptr only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the video links you submit, the content you process, and how you use generated or extracted outputs.
You may not misuse the service, attempt to overload it, reverse engineer it, bypass limits, use it to violate another platform’s rules, or process content you do not have the right to use.
4. Free and paid plans
Free users may receive limited access to core transcript extraction features. Paid users may receive additional or higher-limit access, including features such as unlimited or higher-volume extraction, summaries, key takeaways, rewriting tools, exports, and Lumi chat features.
Plan features, limits, and prices may change as Transcriptr develops. If changes materially affect paid users, we will try to communicate them clearly.
5. Billing, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds
Paid plans may be billed monthly through a third-party payment provider such as PayPal or another supported checkout provider. Payment details are handled by the payment provider, not directly stored by Transcriptr.
If you cancel a monthly subscription, your Pro access may continue until the end of the current billing period, depending on the payment provider and billing setup. After the paid period ends, your account may return to the Free plan.
Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law or clearly stated in a separate refund policy. If you believe you were charged by mistake, contact us at transcriptrai@gmail.com.
6. AI-generated and extracted output
AI-generated summaries, takeaways, rewrites, and chat responses may contain mistakes or incomplete information. You should review outputs before relying on them, publishing them, or using them for professional decisions.
Transcriptr does not claim ownership of your submitted video links or your lawful use of extracted transcript content, but you are responsible for respecting copyright, platform rules, and creator rights.
7. Intellectual property
The Transcriptr name, interface, design, branding, software, workflows, and original website content are owned by Transcriptr or its creator. You may not copy, clone, resell, or redistribute the service or its design without permission.
Copyright notice: © 2026 Transcriptr. All rights reserved.
8. Service availability and changes
Transcriptr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or compatibility with every video link.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
